Kate's Color Inspo

All Collections

Collections are groups of colors you have saved. A collection could be colors from a flower you found inspirational, it could be the color palette of a drawing you are creating, it could be all the yarn colors you have in stock. It could be all the DMC thread you are using for a project or the color palette for a graphic novel you are illustrating.

Collections can have their own titles and descriptions. You can sort collections however you like, you can even sort the colors inside them just by dragging them around.

Collections can be powerful tools! Click a color swatch in a collection to see its hex and rgb codes, see its note if it has one, launch it into the color picker or delete it from the collection. Click the next to a collection to see its options. You can add the color in the color picker to a collection, add a title, delete it or open the collection editor.

Open a collection for even more tools. Add notes to each color. Maybe you want to record what DMC code corresponds to the color, or note that you need more of that color yarn. You can even add sub collections! Say your collection is the whole color palette for your graphic novel - each sub collection could be the color palette for different characters or scenes. If your collection includes all your wool yarn colors, each sub collection could be yarn ideas for future projects.

However you are using color, whether you are drawing, building a website, working on graphic design for a marketing campaign, or picking colors to paint your house, collections can help inspire and organize!
